The monthly subscription is $1.99, renews on a monthly basis, and during the monthly subscription, one issue will be delivered. The yearly subscription is $14.99, renews on a yearly basis, and during the yearly subscription, 12 issues will be delivered. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. Please note that any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication. I have read other magazines through the Newstand, but I find OC to be very difficult. The print is small, so when I try to expand, I have to struggle and tap and swipe. Other times as I try to expand or reduce the size it tries to open an online page. I would quickly close it, then try to expand again. I went through this several times and it ruined the whole reading experience. I unfortunately subscribed for the whole year. I wish I could get my money back until they fix this.
I subscribed and there is only the option to remove issues - NOT archive them. I lost an issue this way - and now have to pay $4.99 for an issue that was part of my subscription. Until they get the bugs fixed, this app is a ripoff. You have to keep the issues on the device or lose them forever!
